The Iota Nu Chapter was founded at Northeast Missouri State University (now Truman State University) in 1978.

Since then, Iota Nu is proud to to say that it has been awarded 96 total recognitions including the national R. Nelson Mitchell Outstanding Chapter of the Year Award eleven times. We have an established reputation within the national Fraternity for excellence.
